Gilded Wood Sculptures

These decorative sculptures are more commonly seen adorning roofs in Southeast Asian countries. They resemble a tall thin bird and represent the mythical creature Garuda, half bird and half man, who is the vehicle of the Hindu god Vishnu. These have been mounted on black bases and give height and interest to any group of accessories or alternatively would look stunning as a pair on a console table.
