With an exclusive network of trusted global artists, artisans and suppliers, our dedicated procurement team seamlessly procure all elements of our projects, ensuring impeccable quality is maintained from concept to installation.

WE MAKE BRITISH PRODUCTS We champion hundreds of the finest small to medium workshops, ateliers and makers in Britain and support them in the making of world-leading furniture and furnishings. This ensures historically important craftsmanship is retained for another generation and minimises transportation for our domestic projects.

NATURAL FIBRES & SUSTAINABLE TIMBER
Wherever possible we aim to use natural fibres in our specifications and Katharine’s role is a tireless advocate for the Campaign for Wool. Wool, cotton, linen, jute, Cashmere, sisal, mohair and bamboo are all far more sustainable and better for our health than man-made fibres. Timber in our joinery and bespoke furniture is sourced from FSC.
WASTE REDUCTION Katharine abhors waste. We actively work to reduce waste across all our projects through sampling, accurate measuring, printing and energy use and by making bespoke items to fit each project. We have a full-time librarian and dedicated procurement team to ensure that all calculations are economical, efficient and minimise wastage.

ANTIQUES, RE-USE & RECLAMATION
We use the best craftspeople to upcycle, French polish and reupholster furniture to give items a new lease of life and we use antiques where suitable to minimise carbon footprint. We seek to ensure that items which can be sold for reclamation are stripped out with care from our projects. Clients existing unwanted items of furniture are sold at auction or donated to charity.
PROJECT HEATING AND POWER Our team of talented architects place sustainable MEP design solutions at the heart of our projects. We have completed a number of projects which have air source heat pumps and solar photovoltaic solutions. Focusing on achieving the best U values so that the fabric of the building gives the system a head start.
