The Childhood Trust
Katharine Pooley has been an ambassador for The Childhood Trust for eight years now, focusing on their Transforming Spaces programme.
Transforming Spaces is The Childhood Trust’s community outreach programme. Each week, they refurbishes disadvantaged children’s bedrooms, as well as local youth clubs and community centres which children rely on for support. The purpose of the programme is to provide children living in unsuitable accommodation with safe environments where they can sleep, learn, play, and grow.
British Forces Foundation
Katharine is honoured to be on the Board of Trustees for The British Forces Foundation. The British Forces Foundation works to boost and maintain the morale of the men and women of our Armed Forces, through innovative programmes designed to demonstrate public support for the work they do and the sacrifices they are prepared to make.
CAMPAIGN FOR WOOL
Katharine is an ambassador for the Campaign for Wool to ensure the studio uses as many natural fibre textiles in projects as possible to continue the wonderful wealth of craftsmanship and support the wool industry in contemporary interior design.
United in Design
Katharine Pooley is a steering committee for United in Design – an organization driven by a clear need to deliver an equal opportunity pathway for entry into the Interior Design Industry for people from black, Asian, ethnic minority and socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Al Johara
Katharine Pooley is a trusted ambassador for Al-Johara – a group of exceptional trusted women who share experiences and expertise on the topics of education, philanthropy, wealth creation and wellbeing, so that they may impact the lives of other women in their communities around the world.
