Inspired by the contrast between strong, man-made, architectural details and organic, natural forms, this palatial villa sits proudly on the very prestigious Jumeirah Palm in Dubai. Designed by Katharine Pooley and her interior design and architecture studio to create a luxurious family holiday retreat, a serene and elegant atmosphere reigns over the entire property created by a consistent, highly polished white marble complemented by metres of crisp, white flowing, linen sheers.
This luxury interior design project in Dubai features desert tones and azure accents that recall the exotic surrounding scenery, whose beauty can be admired through cleverly placed, large sliding pocket doors in-between entertaining spaces, allowing the eye to glimpse the ocean from any angle. Hand patinated brass details and bespoke hand embroidery, together with pearlescent polished plaster and stunning white onyx add refined, luxurious touches enhanced by carefully selected exclusive artwork from the likes of Lorenzo Quinn and Dale Chihuly, on a backdrop of natural materials and hues, something which is reflected in the beautiful Maple wood fins that frame the large entrance staircase. A breathtaking example of contemporary, Dubai, luxury interior design, executed to the highest professional standards; a hallmark of Katharine Pooley interior design.
