I don’t think there is any such thing as balance when you’re a Mother. We are like hamsters on a wheel constantly working. The pace used to stress me out, but over time I have learnt to be at peace chaos. I used to think that when they grew up it would be easier – I find it harder! Children these days have so much pressure on them and responsibility, I was always told “baby steps and great breathing and you can get through anything” so I try and pass on that wisdom.
