| Well what a truly remarkable year it has been. The Katharine Pooley Studio has thrived with creativity, momentum and purpose over the past 12 months and we have continued to push boundaries, deepen collaborations and deliver exceptional work across the globe. Among the standout highlights for me personally was our participation in Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas, a moment that brought together design excellence and philanthropy on an international stage. We were also deeply honoured to see our work at Château de la Croix des Gardes recognised as ‘Best European Luxury Residence at the 2025 Design et Al Awards, a testament to the Studio’s dedication to craftsmanship, storytelling and timeless elegance. This year also brought meaningful recognition across the industry and it was a deep honour to be named a Country & Town House ‘Titan of Design,’ awarded Design Icon status by SBID and celebrated by Olise Magazine – accolades that not only reflect my own personal passion but the incredible talent across the entire Studio. The year was rich with dialogue and exchange. My team and I took part in multiple discussions, starting the year off with the Design Destination festival amongst others. Our work continued to reach new audiences through a feature on Forter Castle in Harper’s Bazaar, further cementing the Studio’s position at the forefront of luxury design. Creatively, it was a year of extraordinary output. We completed and advanced a significant number of projects, 10 of which were international – capturing the breadth and diversity of our work across continents. Looking ahead, we are excited to be developing four upcoming collaborations with exceptional brands across Europe, all rooted in traditional craftsmanship and artisanal skill – an area that continues to inspire and define our design philosophy. As I pause to reflect on an incredible year, I feel immense gratitude for our clients, collaborators and community who have made it all possible. A special mention to my wonderful team and their passion, dedication and of course humour – nothing would be possible without you. This year has been one of growth, recognition and creative exploration and we look forward to sharing the next chapter of our journey very soon. For now, we celebrate all that has been achieved and step into the year ahead with optimism, generosity and a continued commitment to beauty, kindness and purpose. Merry Christmas! Wishing you peace and joy across the festive season and into the coming New Year. – Katharine x |
