Oxfordshire Barn

This Grade II Barn conversion was sensitively transformed from a derelict shell into a flexible space in the middle of the countryside.  The clients hoped for a space that could be used for large gatherings and parties, meetings and guest accommodation.  Katharine Pooley were heavily involved with the renovations from the start of the building works through to the furniture and soft furnishings.  The highlight of the Barn is undoubtedly the main living space which retains its honey coloured stone walls and oak trusses but is freshened by the bespoke contemporary steel mezzanine, limestone fireplace and soft linens.
