Award Winning Project

We are delighted and honoured to have won the best interior design project of a value of above 10M and to be on the front cover of Design et al.’s 200th issue. Over a four week voting period, there was an unbelievable 84,427 votes! This was an incredibly special project for a really wonderful client with so many details that were unique. I am just so pleased and moved that everybody seemed to love this project as much as I do.

Honing in on the details of this project, a gracefully curving crystal-rod chandelier adds sculptural form to the double-height living room.  Mesmerizingly beautiful, it hangs above coffee tables by Boca do Lobo and a sofa designed by Turkish Designer Deniz Tunc.

Accessories from Katharine’s eponymous Home Décor boutique feature throughout the space. Shagreen, sculptural porcelain and faceted crystal add texture and interest.  The sofa is upholstered in Jim Thompson’s Pink Granite and the cushions are upholstered in fabrics by Lizzo and Gala with contrast piping on each.

Katharine found much inspiration in the breath-taking views of the surrounding park and commissioned Fromental hand-painted silk wallpaper with tree motifs, leaf shaped chandeliers and created bespoke foliage themed ironmongery. The striking table is from Gallery 88 and needs no help in taking centre stage in this striking hallway.

Katharine’s Home Dressing team chose table settings and glassware to perfectly compliment the overall design theme.

Five bedroom suites were designed with elegant dressing rooms and bathrooms flowing from them. Every room has its own unique vibe and artwork is evident throughout. The master bedroom suite features a wall light sculpture by Art et Floritude and silk wallpaper by Phillip Jefferies.
