Egerton Crescent is commonly regarded as the one of the finest addresses in Knightsbridge, and with its white stucco-fronted facades, a cherry blossom dappled shared garden around which the terrace curves and extensive private rear gardens, it’s a very private oasis in the heart of the city.
The client wanted a comfortable and welcoming home for family life – but also a sophisticated and classic entertaining space befitting the listed architectural detailing.
A peaceful, tonal palette was used combining white portland stone with soft dove grey marble, polished plaster and natural fabrics – linens, silk velvets and woven textures were used throughout.
In the drawing room KPL added a lightly textured silk wallpaper with cut crystal wall lights and beautiful Versailles Parquet wood flooring whilst the client included his favourite gilt chinoiserie mirror from his own collection. The Master bedroom featured a silver hand woven linen fabric to the bed alongside beautiful antique twisted glass table lamps.
